New: Products with pure honey

We are excited to introduce 5 products with pure honey for the skin, nose and ears. Experience relief and the benefits of pure honey with the skin ointments AnaMel and DerMel, the nose ointments NasuMel and RhinoBlock, or the ear drops OhroMel.

The benefits of pure honey

In four of our pure honey products (AnaMel, DerMel, NasuMel and OhroMel), pure honey is the main ingredient. RhinoBlock is also enriched with pure honey. Our pure honey is harvested from bee colonies that collect nectar from specific flowers. This makes the honey suitable for our products.

The pure honey in our products:

  • Provides antibacterial protection
  • Helps heal superficial wounds
  • Has a soothing effect

Pure honey has a low pH and high sugar content. This causes our ointments to provide a protective layer over the skin, which has an antibacterial effect. Additionally, the high sugar content of the honey attracts moisture from the deeper layers of the skin to the wound. This creates a moist environment, which helps wounds heal faster.

  • Contain no corticosteroids
  • Contain no antibiotics
  • Are suitable for long-term use

DerMel: For superficial wounds

DerMel is ideal for use by the whole family. It can help treat superficial (infected) wounds and abrasions, and provide relief from nappy rash and blemishes. DerMel can also be used to help calm irritated, dry and/or cracked skin. It can also help heal wounds caused by scratching (such as by eczema).

AnaMel: For anal discomfort

AnaMel is a rectal ointment that you can use to relieve anal discomfort such as itching and irritation. It can be used to treat irritated skin or itching due to haemorrhoids, incontinence, obesity, etc. Additionally, it can help heal superficial (infected) wounds and cracked skin (anal fissures).

NasuMel: For recovery of wounds in the nose

NasuMel is an ointment intended for use in the nose. It helps prevent and treat wounds and scabs in the nose. You can experience these discomforts as a result of chronic irritation, nasal surgery, etc. NasuMel can also soften dry, damaged and/or irritated nasal mucosa.

RhinoBlock: For reducing allergy symptoms

RhinoBlock is effective in reducing allergy symptoms. The ointment is based on petroleum jelly and pure honey, it forms a protective layer in the nose. This prevents pollen and allergens from house dust mites from reaching the mucous membranes. RhinoBlock calms the nasal mucosa and is easy and quick to apply.

OhroMel: For skin complaints in the external ear canal

OhroMel ear drops contain pure honey. They have a soothing and healing effect on the skin in the external ear canal. It relieves itching and supports the recovery of the skin barrier. The ear drops are also suitable for the treatment of eczema.
