This new regional award was created to highlight successful export stories and aims to:
- Put companies with outstanding international achievements in the spotlight
- Inspire other entrepreneurs to look beyond borders
- Strengthen the regional economy by stimulating international growth
- Encourage collaboration between businesses, government, and trade partners
The Hanze Export Award is open to companies from the Deventer–Stedendriehoek region that stand out in one or more of the following areas:
- Export growth – achieving a clear increase in export volumes or revenue
- Market access – successfully expanding into new international markets
- Innovation – introducing new products, services, or approaches to export
- Sustainability – conducting international business with respect for people and the planet
- Resilience – overcoming challenges in the international trade landscape
